FAQ’s

How do I take the herbal tonics/oxymels?

They are delicious straight by the dropperful or teaspoon! Or pour a dose into your favorite sparkling drink or add to a smoothie or latte.

What is the dosing for the herbal tonics/oxymels?

Oxymels are kitchen medicine - that means you can't really go wrong! With an apple cider vinegar and honey base instead of an alcohol extract, there is less of a specific dose.

There are suggested doses of 1-3 teaspoons per day, but please follow your intuition. In our 8 oz bottles of the NOURISH herbal pre/postnatal elixir, there are 48 teaspoons - so if you wanted to make it last a month, you would take about 1.5 teaspoons per day.

Are these medicines only for mothers?

Nope! All of these remedies are excellent herbal formulas to nourish women in any stage of life they are in. Even men and children love them!

What is the shelf life of these products + do they need to be refrigerated?

Oxymels are shelf-stable and don't need to be refrigerated. Generally, we advise storing them in a dark place and using within a year.

Can I use these products during pregnancy?

Our NOURISH herbal pre/postnatal elixir has all pregnancy-safe herbs. Our SUNSHINE mood support elixir is best used before or after pregnancy - in the postpartum time and beyond.
